About this app

900 Control turns your Android tablet into a stage control panel for the Yamaha PSR-SX900.

Connect the tablet to the keyboard's USB TO HOST port and get instant, one-tap control of the things you actually change between songs:

- LAYERS — up to 12 extra voice slots (4 per Right1/2/3 group + 4 Left) on top of the instrument's own panel voices. Each slot has its own voice, octave, volume and insertion effect. Layer sets can be saved and recalled.
- PRESETS — 50 presets, each combining a Registration Memory number with a layer set. One tap recalls the registration on the instrument AND rebuilds the layers.
- REGISTRATION — Bank selector for your registration bank files, Reg 1–8 buttons, and tone cards that show the current voices with your own images.
- STYLE — Style selector with all 525 built-in styles in the instrument's own categories, with tempo shown; Intro/Main A–D/Break/Ending transport; tempo and octave controls.
- MULTI PAD — Bank selector with all 329 multi pad banks, matching the instrument's categories.
- SCORE — PDF score library with categories and favourites, viewable on the same screen.
- Backup/restore of all your data to a file.

Free version: presets 1–2, first 3 registration banks, Right1 layer slots 1–2, layer set group 1, Reg 1–4, style/multi pad categories partially. A single in-app purchase unlocks everything permanently.

REQUIREMENTS
- Yamaha PSR-SX900 connected via USB (USB TO HOST). No MIDI interface needed.
- Android tablet, 11" or larger recommended, landscape.
- A MIDI setup file for the instrument is provided in the app's guide (one-time setup).

NOTES
- The app sends MIDI/SysEx to the instrument and reads what the instrument broadcasts. No account needed, and no internet needed for playing.
- Multi pad playback is displayed only (the PSR-SX900 has no external controller assignment for pad triggering).
