It's s fun, little game, but once you get to stage 5, the difficulty amps up to the point that you have to spend money to progress. It's also heavy on the gacha system. It requires monthly payments to remove ads when it should be a one-time purchase. If feels slightly p2w.

The game is a smooth defense game with lots of weapons and upgrades, but the music is an amazing Asian mix of sounds similar to those from Sonic, Pilotwings, Zelda, Castlevania and others. It's very well recorded music. It's fun to play the game, but with a music player option right off the main menu you can also enjoy that as well. It's a well coded game for sure.

To the developer response: only the costume is free by playing, not the character. I've been playing this game for a few months. Out of the last 4 character released, only 1 you can receive through playing the game. The other 3 were only available through step-up events and you would have to pay around $30 each to get them. These 3 character have voiced skills in game and start with some of the better abilities. Right now there is no way to get these better characters by playing the game.
