everything about the game is rng with nothing you can do about it. it's nice that they added an indicator that tells you what upgrades lead to weapon evolutions, but that doesn't mean anything if you don't get any of them. you could get a weapon evolution by wave 7, or not see any upgrades for the weapon the entire game. monetization is absolutely abysmal. you can only pay for a subscription to temporarily remove ads. if you watch ads, you have to watch like 2 minutes of ads for one reward

Cute girls. Alright gameplay that gets old (not a lot of meaningful decisions, too much rng). It's not remotely "tower defense" like it says, though. The jewel system is probably the best part, but even that's tedious. Also, it has terrible monetization. While you can progress F2P, your progression will become very slow over time, and you'll rarely if ever get new characters beyond the 6 cheap ones. Guaranteeing an event character is stupid expensive. A lot is locked behind paid currency.

Fun game and I have enjoyed playing but the game lacks balance and is not very inviting for someone look to play for free and still advance. The pull rates to get a "special" are worse than bad. Even after caving and buying 2 packs to help my odds, I still couldn't pull the special character. There is a backup system so you can just "buy" the things you want from the draws, but the prices on it are absolutely outrageous and are pretty much unobtainable .
