Cook Book turns any recipe into the exact amount you're cooking — then walks you through it, step by step.

★ COOK AT ANY SCALE
Most recipe apps assume a fixed serving size. Cook Book is built around one primary ingredient: mark it once, and when you cook, just tell the app how much you actually have. Every ingredient AND the amounts written inside each step rescale instantly. Half a chicken or five kilos — the math is done for you.

★ GUIDED COOK MODE
Full-screen, one step at a time, with big readable text and the screen kept awake. Start per-step timers that keep running as you move between steps — a live timer queue at the top shows every countdown at once and alerts you the moment each one is done.

★ SMART SHOPPING LIST
Add a recipe's ingredients to your cart at the scaled amount. Cook Book merges duplicates across recipes — even when they're named differently or in another language — and adds up quantities across units (500 g + ½ kg = 1 kg). Every item shows which dishes it's for.

★ AI THAT HELPS, ON YOUR TERMS (OPTIONAL)
Bring your own free Google Gemini key to unlock:
- Generate a full recipe from whatever's in your kitchen
- Import a recipe from pasted text, a link, or a photo
- Rewrite steps for your scaled amount (times, pan sizes, batches)
- Smarter shopping-list de-duplication
AI is completely optional — the whole app works without it. AI features are the only part that uses the internet, and your key stays on your device.

Every dish you finish is logged into a celebratory record — total dishes cooked, unique recipes, a day-streak, and milestone badges. A little motivation to keep going.

★ WARNINGS & TIPS
Add a caution to a whole recipe or a single step ("don't cook past 10 minutes or it burns") and see it exactly where you need it.

★ PRIVATE BY DESIGN
Your recipes live on your device — no account, no sign-up, no server. Uninstalling or clearing the app removes them, so back up anything precious with one-tap export and import it later.

★ SHARE YOUR RECIPES
Export a recipe to a file and share it with friends; imported recipes keep a "Created by" signature.
