Find photos in your phone's gallery by describing what you remember. Search camera photos, saved pictures and screenshots without adding tags by hand.

Search photos by description
Try "dog on the beach", "mountain sunset" or "birthday cake". AI matches your words with the visual content of your indexed photos. Results depend on your library and how you describe the image.

Search text in photos and screenshots
With text recognition enabled, search words in screenshots, receipts and notes. For example, type "Espresso" to find a cafe receipt. After the text index is ready, open a matching photo to see the recognized text highlighted or copy the text. OCR finds written words; description search finds what appears in the picture.

Find videos by describing a scene
Enable video search and allow access to videos. After video indexing, describe a scene to find matching clips in your local library, then open them for playback.

On-device AI and offline search
Photo indexing, AI matching, text recognition and supported query translation run on your device. Your photos do not need to be uploaded for search. There are no ads and no app account to create. Setup and required model downloads may need an internet connection; once setup and indexing are complete, you can search offline. Refine a description search
Search within your results to narrow them down, adjust the similarity threshold, or sort by similarity or date.

Find similar photos and filter with Plus
With Plus, choose a photo to find visually similar pictures in your library, or share an image from your system gallery into the app to start a local image search. Plus also lets you restrict searches by album, folder or date range. Plus is an optional in-app purchase.

Getting started
Grant access to your photos and, for video search, your videos. Larger libraries take time to index for the first time. Text and video search need their own indexes and the relevant settings enabled. Supported non-English descriptions use on-device translation to English; a translation model may need to be downloaded before first use. Search covers media that the app can access and has indexed.

Excellent. this is a no brainer 'must have' app. this will be a standard part of phones in the future for sure. I imagined having an ai app that could deliver images from my gallery according to what I type. I just tried typing 'studio' and BANG !! it instantly produced all pictures of my recording studio. I searched for 'wheels' BANG!! It instantly found the pictures I took last week of the wheels on my car! AMAZING! PERFECT! I have over 1500 images - This app makes searching easy. thanks.

After the sad death of the FOSS local AI image search app "TIDY", I've been looking for a replacement. This app fits the bill perfectly. All of the AI is local, meaning that it doesn't send all your data to the cloud to be mined. No ads to speak of, and the pro features only cost a few bucks.
