Stop fighting with your phone while you cook. Cook the Quest was built to solve a simple problem: cooking along with YouTube videos is frustrating because you usually have to stop, wash your hands, and rewind just to catch an ingredient amount. This app changes that. Paste a link from YouTube or a food blog, and we transform it into a structured cooking mission.
The YouTube solution and voice assistant
When you import a video, the app displays the clip at the top and generates interactive cards below it. Each card contains instructions and ingredients for that specific step. These cards have timestamps, so when you tap a step, the video jumps to the exact moment you need. For a completely hands-free experience, use the voice assistant button to navigate through steps with commands like "next," "previous," or "finish" without ever touching your screen.
Universal recipe translation
Language is no longer a barrier in your kitchen. If you find a recipe link in Spanish, German, or any other language, Cook the Quest automatically translates the entire experience (instructions and ingredients) into your chosen language. Discover global flavors without ever needing a separate translator.
Smart pantry and meal planning
Plan your meals for the week using the built-in calendar and generate a complete shopping list with a single button. To help you reduce food waste, the app tracks your fridge and sends notifications when ingredients are about to expire. It even generates "urgent quests," which are recipe suggestions based specifically on items that need to be used up immediately.
Your health is your HP
We have reimagined calorie counting as a survival game. Instead of a restrictive limit, you start the day with a full health points (HP) bar. Eating meals reduces your HP, but staying active fights back. Every step you take increases your max HP, giving you a fun way to manage your nutrition like a vital resource.
Family co-op and social cooking
Invite your family to a home base to share a common inventory, save recipes together, and compete on the leaderboard. Use co-op mode to connect two phones and cook a recipe together in real-time while assigning roles like head chef and sous chef. If you cannot decide what to eat, use the meal swiper to find a match with a friend.
Gamify your kitchen
Turn the chore of cooking into a rewarding journey. Every recipe you complete earns you XP to help you level up, unlock achievements, and track your daily streaks. Your kitchen data is personal, so we do not sell your data or track your habits.
