Timelapse Camera makes videos two ways. Interval capture takes photos at a fixed interval and stitches them together. Speed conversion takes a video you already have and speeds it up.


■ Interval capture

Shoots automatically at a fixed interval and compiles a timelapse.
· Intervals from 0.5 seconds up to 1 minute
· Output at 24 / 30 / 60 fps
· Resolution 720p / 1080p / 4K
· Keeps shooting in the background with the screen off
· Locks exposure and white balance after the first frame to reduce flicker


■ Estimates before you start

It is hard to guess how long you need to shoot for a few seconds of video. So the numbers are worked out for you before recording begins.

· Playback speed = interval × output fps
· A 2 second interval at 30 fps gives 60x. Shoot for an hour and you get a 1 minute video
· Frame count, result length and storage needed, all updated live


■ Speed up a video

Load a video from your device and raise its playback speed.
· Presets at 2x, 4x, 8x, 16x and 32x
· Set any speed you like with the slider
· See the resulting length before you convert


■ Timestamp burn-in

Stamps the capture time into the video itself.
· Drag the preview to place it
· Adjust the text size
· The position is stored as a ratio, so it lands in the same spot at any resolution
