About this app
Copide connects you with nearby technicians and professionals to take care of your home needs. Tell us what you need, receive quotes, compare, and choose.
For customers:
• Request a service: Choose the category and describe what you need. For plumbing, electrical, cleaning, gardening, and painting, the app asks the technician the questions they need to provide an accurate quote. You can upload up to 6 photos.
• Compare: Nearby technicians send you their quotes with prices and estimated time. You can view their ratings, reviews, and previous work, and see the price before accepting.
• Choose and coordinate: Accept the quote that best suits you and arrange the details via the app's chat.
• Track the technician: When they leave for your home and share their location, you can follow them on the map.
• Rate: After the job is completed, leave a review to help other customers. • If something doesn't go as planned, report it from your booking details.
For technicians and professionals
• Offer your services: create your profile with your trades, service area, and photos of your work.
• Receive notifications of nearby requests that match your services and send your quote with price and estimated time.
• When your quote is accepted, you can let the client know you're on your way so they can see you arriving on the map.
Sharing your location with the client (technicians only)
Copide collects your phone's location to share with the client while you're on your way to a job you've accepted, so they can see when you arrive.
To ensure the client can still see you, your location is also collected even when the app is minimized or the screen is off, as long as you're sharing it. Meanwhile, your phone displays a Copide notification (a notification or an on-screen indicator).
Location sharing continues until you tap "Stop live location" or mark the job as completed.
The client for that job and the assigned service provider see it, and it's stored on Copide's servers. It's not used for advertising or sold to anyone.
