The Edsby app has many of the capabilities of the main Edsby web browser interface. Some complex features for certain types of users, such as the Edsby gradebook used by teachers, aren't available on devices with small screen sizes.

Terrible in every way. Every update logs you out. I understand the users define the log in and such. However on my Android, on my laptop, on my tablet, trying to hit the link from forgot password does not give you a save button. I can enter all the information and there is no place to save so you exit. The forgot password email takes you to they edsby page, somehow logged in. then to change the log in password, it won't let you.

Report your issues to your school. It sounds like your school or district is using its M365, Google or other systems to manage authentication into Edsby, and something is not working on its side. Many Edsby sites heavily customize how users log into their Edsby systems.

Overcomplicates simple e-mails, and only e-mail notifications function with reliability. Older messages cannot be deleted or archived. Teachers provide weekly/monthly updates by paper which is more convenient to keep on the fridge or home bulletin board, redundant to 'see' and need to download to 'view'. There is no manual, and most of the categories are unused or blank. Just terrible.

If you are unhappy with how your school or district, or even specific teachers, are using Edsby, consider telling them. Its usefulness to you might increase if it was used the way it was intended.

Inconsistent App. Notifications were finally working and now they have quit working again this school year. I have clear data, cache and reset notifications and they are permanently blocked. Login on a computer, it is a great experience, this app is the polar opposite of that. Cannot find information. Click on a heading to get more information, end up going to a useless bio which in most cases is empty. I hope school divisions are not paying for this.

You appear to be using the Android Edsby app v 2.2.4.2. Google recently made a change and Android apps now need to independently request notification permission now if they've been installed recently, and not grandfathered by an old system. We'll work around in an app update soon. Only affects some Android users. Doesn't affect web browser logins.

To ensure Notifications are configured, after the Android Edsby App has been downloaded and installed from the Android Play Store, users should check the following:
1. Open the Android Settings
2. Open Apps
3. Open App Management > Edsby
4. Under App Permissions > Edsby, check to see if Notifications are allowed
5. Make sure Notifications are Enabled
