SARA – Environmental Management for the Colombian Amazon
SARA is a mobile application developed by the Corporation for the Sustainable Development of the Southern Amazon (CORPOAMAZONIA), a government entity responsible for environmental planning and management in the departments of Putumayo, Caquetá, and Amazonas.
The application addresses the environmental challenges of the Amazon region, one of the most biodiverse territories on the planet and, at the same time, one of the most threatened by deforestation, climate change, and ecosystem degradation. SARA facilitates the collection, management, and analysis of environmental information, strengthening decision-making for the conservation and sustainable use of natural resources.
