About this app

Stint is a calm focus timer built on the pomodoro technique. Pick a stint length, press start, and give the work your full attention until the timer tells you to rest. Take the short break, then go again. That is the whole method, and Stint keeps it that simple.

There is no account to create and no subscription wall, and the timer works completely offline.

WHY PEOPLE STAY
• A focus ring you can read at a glance, with the time remaining front and center
• Classic 25/5 pomodoro preset, a 50/10 deep work preset, and a custom preset you control
• Streaks that reward showing up daily without guilt-tripping you when life happens
• Session counts for today so you always know where you stand
• A gentle haptic tap when a phase changes, plus an optional completion notification and sound
• Keep-screen-on while you focus, so the ring stays with you
• Optional fullscreen focus and Auto Do Not Disturb that quiets other notifications during focus, then puts your settings back
• Pause, resume or skip right from the notification
• Dark and light themes designed to be genuinely calm, not just inverted

BUILT FOR REAL FOCUS
The pomodoro technique breaks work into focused stints separated by short breaks, with a longer break after every cycle. It works for studying, writing, coding, ADHD-friendly task starting, and any deep work that deserves your full attention. Stint follows the method faithfully: focus, short break, and a long break once the cycle completes, with auto-start when you want momentum.

Use it as a study timer before exams or as a work timer for the hours that count.

ACCURATE BY DESIGN
Stint measures time by the clock, not by counting ticks. Switch apps, take a call, or lock your phone, and your stint stays exactly on time. A notification lets you know when it completes.

ON YOUR PHONE OR TABLET
The ring and controls scale to the screen you have, in portrait or landscape.

PRIVATE BY DEFAULT
Your sessions, streaks, and settings never leave your device. There is nothing to sign up for and nothing to sync. See our privacy policy for the full picture.

Stint is free with ads, and a one-time purchase removes them for good. Built with care by Corvant.
