Welcome to Sparkling — the new way to learn vocabulary.

Sparkling is a modern language-learning app that helps you build real, lasting skills in German, English, Spanish, French, Swedish, and more. From A1 to C2, you get intelligent flashcards, varied exercises, and a repetition plan that adapts to what you actually struggle with—not what you already know.

Adaptive learning that respects your memory
Sparkling uses a multidimensional spaced-repetition system (SRS) that tracks separate strengths for vocabulary, spelling, and grammar. Cards return at the right moment so you train efficiently, tuned for language learning with richer context, morphology, and smarter scheduling.

Add words in seconds—typing, camera, or share
Type a word in your native or target language and Sparkling can pull translations, grammar details, and example sentences automatically. Use the built-in scanner for photos, screenshots, or printed lists (including a dedicated vocabulary-list mode). You can also share an image straight into Sparkling so words are recognized and ready to add with a tap.

Quick Training, Text of the Day, and Lessons
Start Quick Training with one tap to practice what’s due right now. Read the Text of the Day at your level—tap any word to add it or analyze the sentence grammatically. Explore ready-made lessons or build your own, with AI assistance or fully manual control.

Training you can shape
In the Training tab you choose folders, word types, exercise mix, and focus areas—then start a session that matches your goals. Add your own free-text instructions when you want the AI to steer practice (for example tense focus, a level, or a topic). Exercise types include flashcards (including reverse mode), gap-fill, sentence ordering, matching, and translation-style drills—plus reading with authentic texts where available.

Smart cards, folders, and imports
Organize everything in folders, share sets with others, and learn with friends when you want accountability. Import common flashcard packages (for example .apkg) from your profile and keep studying your existing decks inside Sparkling.

Progress, feedback, and motivation
Track streaks, detailed statistics, and evaluations so you can see momentum—not guesswork. Optional haptic feedback celebrates small wins during study.
