💾 SAVES YOUR FILE THE WAY IT FOUND IT
• Line endings are preserved — a CRLF file stays CRLF, an LF file stays LF
• The UTF-8 byte order mark is kept, so spreadsheets still read your accents and Cyrillic correctly
• A trailing newline stays exactly as it was — clean diffs in Git, no phantom changes
• Editing changes the data in your file, not its encoding
