*Edit* I put this app on theblist never to sleep, deep sleep or anything involving battery saving options and it still disconnects every few minutes. I've been looking for a good IRC client, and this one has a lot of good functions. I had a good free one, but I paid for this one on hopes it won't disconnect with the new Android update. Any suggestions to keep it from disconnecting in the background?

Hi, You can go into server preferences, then client behavior, then adjust ping interval at the bottom. It has instructions on how to adjust in the description. If you're still having trouble, email me directly and I'll get you sorted out.

There was a little bit of learning curve in using this app, as I have been using AndroIRC for the past several years and am much more familiar with how it works, but so far this is a great app! The only thing I would suggest right now is adding text formatting (bold, italics, etc), and finding some way for text colors and formatting to be indicated in the logs. Other than that, it's a very nice app!

Hi The server you're connecting to is probably enforcing a nick length limit. If you have tried adjusting it in the edit server screen and that still happens, it's definitely the server.

Limits chats. For a paid client I'd expect it not to limit the target change too fast. However that is usually what happens. When trying to start new chats it often tells me target changed too fast wait blank seconds
