Very interesting idea for an app, but the logic it uses is terrible. For example, if I use my phone 20 times, why does it assume I'm driving? I'm obviously the passenger. What it needs to do is track families when they are together and determine which of them is driving and which is a passenger by looking at phone usage. Also, my discount is all over the place with no good reason. It started at 10%, then jumped up to 14%, and then dropped to 3% even though I get 5 stars on almost every trip.

There are a lot of cons. It isn't "smart" enough to know when you're driving your insured vehicle so you are constantly having to go in and edit trips. Additionally the speeding feature penalizes me daily for following the flow of traffic on the freeway. I was also told the minimum discount was 10% but now it's giving me less. The volume of data it collects on your whereabouts and habits, and the issues with the app itself, vs the discount it provides isn't remotely worth it in my opinion.

Horrible app! It's a good idea with good intentions but there are so many problems. Assuming it's even compatible with your device (which is shotty, at best), it's supposed to record acceleration, deceleration, travel speed, etc. while driving. But then this app will record these while walking and bike riding; that's not very useful. It's a chore to change settings if you ride in someone else's vehicle so you don't get deducted points for someone else's poor driving.
