About this game

A murder has been committed on board. Nobody could leave. Among hundreds or thousands of suspects, only one did it, and it is up to you to find out who.

Every suspect has a face and a card: job, age, height, deck, port of embarkation, tobacco, distinguishing marks. The case file holds what the investigation turned up: the doctor's report, the witness statements, the exhibits picked up near the body and photographed.

No piece of evidence names anyone. You draw the conclusion yourself and cross out, card after card, everyone it rules out. One witness saw a jacket, another saw spectacles, an exhibit gives away a port of call. The crowd thins. At the end, three statements contradict each other: one witness has it wrong, and that witness is all that stands between you and the name.

YOUR FIRST CASE IS FREE
An ocean liner in 1953, 617 suspects, about twenty minutes to learn the game all the way to the accusation.

THE MURDER AT SEA COLLECTION
Four cases, four eras:
• Emigrant liner, 1907: 2,843 suspects
• Aircraft carrier, today: 4,812 suspects
• Maiden voyage, near future: 9,604 suspects
• Caribbean island, 1971: 1,217 suspects

Readers of the book "Who is the culprit?" unlock two cases with the code printed in their copy. The others unlock with a single in-app purchase.

EVERY CASE IS CHECKED
One solution, never luck, and every clue applies to what the card shows. Once the case is solved, the answer key walks through the evidence step by step.
