About this app

Course Compass is a clean, dark-themed compass for Android.

It uses your device’s compass sensors when available for a real-time heading. On devices without a magnetometer/rotation sensor, it automatically switches to GPS course mode (direction updates while you move).

Permissions

- Location is optional and used only to show coordinates, compute declination (True North), and provide GPS course direction on devices without compass sensors.

Notes

- GPS course direction requires movement; when stationary, direction may show as unavailable.
