About Coventry Hospital Radio
Coventry Hospital Radio began broadcasting in 1972. Originally known as Walsgrave Radio, the station later became Coventry Hospitals Broadcasting Service before becoming known as Coventry Hospital Radio.
Today, Coventry Hospital Radio is run by a dedicated team of volunteers and broadcasts to patients at University Hospital Coventry, as well as listeners online.
The station began broadcasting online in 2014, allowing people outside the hospital to listen to Coventry Hospital Radio through the internet.
Our aim is simple: to provide music, entertainment and companionship to hospital patients and our wider audience.
