About this app

[Key Features]
● Screen Timeout & Keep Screen On
Customize how long your screen stays on when idle. Quickly change settings with Quick Settings tiles or widgets, or set the screen to stay on indefinitely.
(※ Gaming or video streaming will not be interrupted as the app detects active use.)
- Tips: Set it to 15 seconds to save battery normally, and instantly extend it when reading text or practicing music with sheet music on screen.

● Burn-in Protection
A smart screen saver that automatically activates based on your timeout settings. Extend your display's lifespan by customizing the scanline darkness, size, and speed to 100% of your liking.
- Tips: If you keep your screen on for a long time, such as using your device as a digital photo frame, turn on Burn-in Protection to protect your display.

● Per-App Screen Timeout
Automatically switch to a custom screen timeout whenever a specific app is launched, and seamlessly revert to default when the app is closed.
- Tips: Set the screen to stay on automatically whenever a game is running. It works even better when paired with Burn-in Protection!

● Turn Screen Off Instantly (One-Touch Lock)
Turn off your screen instantly with a single touch. It offers two options: "Lock" secures your device via PIN/Password, while "Turn Off" allows convenient biometric unlock like fingerprint or face recognition. (※ supported on Android 9.0 and above.)

● Sleep Timer
Fall asleep watching videos or listening to music without worrying about battery drain or screen burn-in. It offers a variety of timer options tailored to your habits.
- Tips: Set the timer when listening to music before bed to prevent overnight battery drain, or use it to limit your daily gaming sessions.

● Automation Scheduler
Automate your routine by scheduling tasks like "Trigger Alarm," "Change Screen Timeout," and "Activate Sleep Timer" at specific times. Supports Snooze and Auto-Snooze settings.
- Tips: Start your day with an alarm and an extended screen timeout. At bedtime, automatically trigger the sleep timer and minimize timeout to maximize battery savings.

Using a pixel phone, after upgrading android to 17, this timeout does not work anymore. I used it a lot as I play games that don't timeout so sometimes I would fall asleep playing and it would run out of battery. Now it doesn't work so I've had a few days where my phone now remains open. Edit: yes the sleep timer does not work when playing games now. Used to before I updated it to Android 17. Useful feature for late gaming.

It seems the sleep timer screen off option isn't working. Would you like to try rebooting your phone and granting accessibility permissions again?

This app works well, but DON'T use it. When your phone turns off after a few minutes of inactivity, you have to use a security method (fingerprint, PIN...) to use your phone and access your apps. Keeping your screen on bypasses that security, and anyone with your phone can now access your apps (email, texts...). If, for instance, you had your Crypto account open, and someone takes or you lose your phone, not only will your phone be gone, but so will your Crypto savings. Too risky.

It seems you have misunderstood something. This app is not a security management app. It is an app for saving screen and battery.

Edit: so the widget thing works fine but the other issue still exists. When it was called screen timeout as an app name. it used to work fine. I don't think it's an One UI update, it when you changed the app name but could be One UI but I do know it changed when you changed the name. I tried all those on my Z Fold 7 no change. When I select as a when condition and select screen timeout, it used to ask what time you want but now it just selects it and that's it. For now I'll just use the widget.

Renaming the app to 'Screen Suite' likely broke old routine links, or you might be selecting the app condition instead of Samsung's built-in 'Screen timeout' setting. Please try deleting and re-creating the routine from scratch. Thank you.
