Have you ever wanted to get into your car and when Bluetooth connects to your phone the music just starts playing where it left off in the player of your choice?

This app is designed to tie the Bluetooth connect event to playing the music player of your choice. Unlike other auto-play options, this allows you to select the specific player that should be used. Do you want a Podcast to start instead of music, you can select that, do you want a specific music app to play when you enter your home vs car or put on headsets and head to work out... no problem.
Why would you want this? Some Bluetooth receivers do not play at all, some target the stock music player, this puts you in control of what happens when Bluetooth audio connects.

**Important Note**
This App assumes you already have the subject Bluetooth device Paired to your phone using the BT device manufacturer's unique approach. It won't help Pair the device, the list that shows (as in the App picture) is a list of Paired (sometimes called Bonded) devices.

This App starts a Music App by package name and broadcasts "play" to start the player. NOT all players support this.

I installed this to stop my phone from launching music players when it connects to my car, home stereo, etc. It does not work on my S7 Edge. Google play music still launched as soon as it connected. update: tried it again with my S24 as Google STILL HAS NOT FIXED THIS! app doesn't work at all. uninstall and reinstall. still doesn't work. still a useless app.

This app is the only app I know commited to giving us the ability to stop autoplay when devices are connected. My preference would be for you to discontinue development of this app, maybe even remove it from play store, and launch a pro version for $5/yr after a trial period. You could have it automatically detect the necessary settings to make it work like sleep. My thinking is this would incentivize future development and is our best chance of an app that will always work.

I love this app to death, it works flawlessly for me when I connect to my radio in car and auto connect my Google Music. However, you might need to look at how it behaves with other apps. For some reason it opens my ESPN SportsCenter app in the notification bar every time! It's pretty annoying. Five stars if you fix this! Thanks!!!
