Pocket Pets is a cute screen pet app. Shimeji-style pixel pets walk, climb, nap and play on top of any app. Pick a desktop pet or draw your own!

- Zoom in, onion-skin the previous frame, undo, fill and erase
- Recolor a whole pet with one long-press on a color
- Add as many as 24 animations per pet, each with its own frames
- Give every animation its own sound, hearts, dust puff or vibration
- Add your own short sound clips
40+ TRIGGERS: YOU CHOOSE WHEN IT PLAYS
Make your pet react to taps, double-taps and long-presses, to shaking your phone, unlocking the screen, plugging in the charger, music playing, headphones, low or full battery, the time of day, the day of the week, a date like Christmas, landscape mode, silent mode, no internet, a dark room, or when nobody has touched it for a while.

PRIVACY
No account is needed. Your pets, drawings and sounds stay on your phone. Pocket Pets never reads the content of other apps.
HOW IT WORKS
Pocket Pets needs the "Display over other apps" permission to draw your pets on top of other apps. Android opens its settings screen so you can allow it. A small notification keeps your pets running, and you can tap Stop in it at any time. You can turn the permission off in Android Settings whenever you like.
QUESTIONS
Why do my pets hide inside the app? They step aside while Pocket Pets is open and come back when you switch to another app.
Will it drain my battery? The animation is light, and you can stop the pets from the notification whenever you want.
Is it free? Yes. The app is free and shows ads inside the app only, never on top of other apps.
