About this app

CrackLog is field documentation software for engineering firms that inspect buildings. Organize findings by building project, measure cracks with AI assistance, and let a licensed engineer verify every value — with an audit trail that survives review.

Built around milestone inspection work, including Florida Statute 553.899 Phase 1 and Phase 2 reporting.

PROJECTS PER BUILDING
Each project records building name, address, certificate of occupancy year, jurisdiction and inspection type — the context an inspection report has to carry. Findings stay organized by site instead of piling up in one camera roll.

STRUCTURAL COMPONENT TAGGING
Tag every finding to a load-bearing wall, foundation, floor system, column, beam or building envelope, plus a free-text location such as "NW stairwell, 3rd floor".

AI-ASSISTED MEASUREMENT, ENGINEER-VERIFIED
On-device computer vision measures crack width against a reference marker, and AI classifies crack type and severity. Every estimate is labeled as an estimate. An engineer overrides any value with their own, and both figures are kept permanently with the verifier's name and timestamp.

CHANGE OVER TIME
Re-photograph the same crack on a later visit and CrackLog charts width progression across scans, so a report can show whether a crack is stable or moving.

CONSOLIDATED PROJECT REPORTS
One PDF per building: firm-branded cover, findings summary table, and a section per crack with photos, measurement history and a verified-versus-AI column. English or Spanish.

YOUR WHOLE TEAM, ONE WORKSPACE
Add inspectors to your firm's organization and everyone sees the same projects as work happens. Admins control membership, roles and report branding. Plan limits apply to the organization and are shared across every member.

WHAT YOUR IT REVIEWER WILL ASK
- Data is scoped to your organization. Security rules gate every read and write on organization membership, so another firm cannot reach your projects and neither can a removed member.
- Audit records are immutable. The original AI estimate and every engineer verification are write-once for the life of the organization.
- No AI keys on the device. Analysis is proxied through an authenticated backend that also enforces every usage limit server-side.
- Encrypted in transit. No ads and no advertising SDKs.

PLANS
Start free to evaluate the workflow. The Inspector plan is a monthly subscription through Google Play. Solo and Firm plans for multi-inspector teams are billed by invoice under a written agreement — contact us to set one up.

CrackLog assists documentation and does not replace professional engineering judgment. Reports are issued under your firm's authority and signature.
