Tap a snake and it slithers forward until something stops it. If its head reaches another snake's tail — gulp. It swallows that snake whole, and now it is longer, and it is facing wherever that snake was facing. Clear the board.
Eating is how you turn a corner, how you make a snake long enough for a hole, and how you remove a blocker with no way out of its own. One tap is the only control.
The journey
Every board is built by a generator and measured by a solver first: one answer, reachable by logic alone, and a par the game counted rather than guessed. The journey runs from a 4×4 board with three snakes to nest chambers fourteen rows deep. Three nightmares — the hardest boards in the game — are mixed into the climb of every chapter.
• Walls, closed edges, and holes that only take a snake of exactly the right length
• Venom snakes that cannot be eaten, so they have to be steered out instead
• Eggs that add a segment and stop you where you may not want to stop
• Sleeping snakes that wake when something passes their head, and frozen ones only a bite removes
• Molt tiles that drop a segment behind you as a wall, which dissolves three taps later
• The Ouroboros: a snake whose head meets its own tail eats itself and is gone
A puzzle a day, and boards that never run out
The daily puzzle is built from the date: the same board for everyone, made on your device with no signal. Monday is calm and Saturday is not. Your streak is counted quietly and never nagged about, and the whole calendar is open to go back through.
Endless generates boards on the phone in four bands, Calm to Brutal, checked against everything you have played, so a board comes back only once a band has run out of new ones.
Nothing you can lose
No timers. No lives, no hearts, no energy, no coins. A tap that cannot move is a bump, not a penalty, and nothing ever ends a puzzle. Undo and redo are unlimited and free, restart costs nothing, and when a board is lost the game says so.
A level allows two taps past the solver's answer, both numbers on screen; stepping back over that line costs an undo and nothing else.
Hints that show the reasoning
A hint is the next tap on a real solution line: a pulse on the snake and a ghost path where it would go — never a revealed board. Spend a skip and the solver plays the whole answer, then puts the board back.
Made to be looked at
Snakes that breathe, blink and look where their head points, and a bulge that travels down the body after a bite. Boards from warm paper to full black, and six snake skins. A finished level reports your taps against par, awards up to three stars — the third only for a solve with no undo — and stops.
Yours, on your device
Levels, stars, taps, snakes eaten, your longest snake ever, and your daily streak. Twenty-two languages, color-blind cues, reduce motion, large targets, a left-handed layout, and a board a screen reader reads snake by snake.
No account, no sign-in, no server: every board is made here and nothing about your play leaves the phone.
One purchase, not a subscription
Every chapter, every level, every endless band and the day's daily puzzle are free, and always will be. Gulp Unlocked adds the rest: a bigger and faster hint bank, five skips banked instead of one a day, four more snake skins, Ouroboros Gold among them, the Slate and AMOLED boards, and the whole daily calendar.
One payment, held by your Google Play account and restored on any device you sign into, including everything added to the game after it.
Offline, and levels are never sold. A relaxing brain puzzle for anyone who liked snake games before they had lives: tap away, snake escape, slither out, worm logic, maze escape.
Tap a snake to slide, eat and escape the maze. No timers, no lives, offline.
