Every origami diagram in Crane Leaf Folds is computed, not stored as a picture. A model is a list of fold operations, and a folding engine clips the paper outline along each crease line and reflects the travelling part - so the shape you see at step N is worked out live, crease by crease.

Press Fold and the flap rotates around the crease in real time. You watch the motion between two steps instead of guessing at it from two still pictures, then step back and forth as often as you like.

PROPER NOTATION, EVERY TIME
Standard origami notation is drawn on every step: dashed valley lines, dash-dot mountain lines, vermilion direction arrows and pale existing creases. A full symbol glossary explains valley, mountain, hidden edge, turn over and repeat - plus how to cut a square from a rectangle using folds alone.

CHECKED BEFORE YOU SEE IT
Every authored model is validated fold by fold when the app launches. If a crease would miss the paper, that model is hidden rather than shown wrong. Nothing on the shelf is a broken diagram.

IT REMEMBERS WHERE YOU WERE
Your progress, the step you stopped on and nine paper award marks are stored on the device and survive a restart. Close the app mid-crane and come back to the same step.
