Crates! is an arcade game of balance, reflexes, and quick thinking. Set against a neon retro backdrop, your goal is simple: catch falling crates on a moving paddle, stack them by color, and survive the ticking countdown.
🕹️ Catch, Stack, and Balance
Crates drop from the sky, and you must slide your paddle left and right to catch them across four columns. But beware—every block obeys real 2D physics. Catch a crate off-center, and your stack will start to wobble. Move your paddle too fast, and the momentum can send your entire tower tipping over.
đź’Ą Trigger the SPLASH
To clear space and stay alive, you need to match colors. Stack 5 consecutive crates of the same color vertically to trigger a SPLASH—an explosive match that clears the blocks and drops down anything stacked above them. Because the countdown timer is constantly ticking away, every successful SPLASH adds precious seconds back to the clock.
⚠️ Adapt to the Hazards
As you advance, survival gets trickier:
The Sky Barrier: A neon energy field limits how high you can stack. Breach it, and you lose a life.
Lightning Strikes: Quick on-screen warnings signal incoming lightning bolts that zap the play area, breaking your combos.
Special crates: Helpful Wildcards will aid your stacks, while dangerous hazard crates will fall to smash your towers or steal your time.

Made a mistake? If a mismatched color ruins your streak, physically shake your phone (or rapidly jerk your paddle) to violently toss the top crates off your tower and reset your strategy.
