Enter the candlelit library of GhostTears, a word game of vocabulary, bluffing and quick thinking. Take turns adding letters to a growing word fragment—but avoid being the player who completes a word!

HOW TO PLAY
• Add one letter on your turn.
• Keep the fragment on a path toward a valid English word.
• Avoid completing a word that meets the match’s minimum word length.
• Think someone is bluffing? Challenge them to prove a valid word.
• Mistakes and failed challenges earn tears. Stay in the game and outlast your opponents!
For example, with a minimum word length of four, players might build T → TR → TRE. Adding E completes TREE, so that player loses the round.

Practice your word skills against computer opponents. Use limited hints when you need a little help.
OFFLINE PLAYER VS PLAYER
Challenge someone beside you on the same device. No internet connection is needed for local play.
ONLINE MULTIPLAYER
Create a room and invite friends using a room code. Compete in turn-based word battles where every letter matters. Hints are disabled in player-versus-player matches.
MAKE EACH MATCH YOUR OWN
Choose the minimum word length and seconds per turn to suit your group. Enjoy relaxed thinking time or put your vocabulary under pressure.
A COZY GHOSTLY SETTING
Explore a warm, mysterious library filled with antique books, glowing candles and a friendly ghost. Follow the letters already played and plan your next move carefully.
ADS AND OPTIONAL PURCHASE
GhostTears is free to play and includes ads after completed matches. In AI mode, you can choose to watch a rewarded video for an extra hint after using your free hints.
An optional one-time Remove Ads purchase removes both interstitial and rewarded ads and provides a maximum of three hints per AI match. It does not provide unlimited hints.
Online multiplayer requires an internet connection.
