Ratings and reviews

The app doesn't work anymore, after doing research on why my brand new ferret SE was not connecting to the app but was working on pc I found out creality either removed or broke the ability of the scanner to connect to your phone, and that the only way to get it to work is to have an older firmware on the scanner (which is not possible because creality updates them) and use an older version of the app. I gotta say that I am somewhat disappointed regarding this finding.

1st, it won't even let you log in. Authentication fails repeatedly. 2nd, it is always in landscape mode, but it's fake. The phone is still in portrait mode, just the app display is sideways. So, all the swipe gestures are still portrait even though you'll be holding the phone in landscape. 3rd, the android back button doesn't function in the app. You have to use the app back buttons which are finicky.

If you have an Android device and want the Creality Ferret Pro, stay away from the app and scanner. The WiFi bridge will sometimes work (when it chooses to stay connected). As for how it's supposed to operate without using the WiFi bridge and using the cable directly plugged into your phone, that's also another story. It will give you the message, "Scanner image transmission error, Please restart the application." (Unusable). This has been a known issue, and there is no current fix for this.
