About this app

Smart Grow is the app for SmartGrow hydroponic towers. Add your device, see what it measures, control it from your phone, and follow your crops from planting to harvest.

Monitoring and control need a SmartGrow device. The Plant Guide and the Market work without one.

Add and connect your device
• Scan the code printed on your device, or type its serial, to add it to your account.
• Give it your Wi-Fi details over Bluetooth while you stand next to it. The password goes to your device only: the app does not save it, and it never passes through our servers.

See what is happening
• Current readings from your device's sensors, such as air and water temperature, humidity, solution pH and EC, reservoir level and light.
• History by hour, day and week.
• A sensor check that shows readings that don't look right, so you know which ones to trust.

Control and automate
• Send commands and see whether your device carried them out.
• Set a lighting schedule that the device keeps on its own.
• Create automations: rules that act when a reading crosses a limit, within the device's safety limits.

Grow, stage by stage
• Start a growth cycle, follow it stage by stage, and record your harvests.
• Plant Guide: how to grow each crop in the tower, including temperature, pH, nutrients, light and when to harvest, with the source of every number.

Stay informed
• Notifications when a device goes offline, a reading stops looking right, a command fails, or an order changes status.
• Choose which kinds of notification you receive.

Share a device
• Give someone view-only access, or let them control the device too. Remove access at any time.

Shop
• Order towers, seeds and supplies in the Market, and follow each order's status.

Your account
• Sign in with email, Google or Apple.
• Arabic and English, light and dark themes.
• Delete your account from the app at any time.
