About this app

CricMotion is a cricket biomechanics app for fast bowlers. Film one ball on your phone and see its bowling speed, its line and length, and how the bowling action moves through each phase of the delivery.

BOWLING SPEED, LINE AND LENGTH
Film from behind the bowler, looking down the pitch, with the phone on a tripod and both sets of stumps in the picture. CricMotion reads the bowling speed with its range, where the ball pitched, and its line and length. The session report draws the day's pitch map. When a ball cannot be followed clearly, the app says so instead of guessing.

BIOMECHANICS OF THE BOWLING ACTION
Film from the side, level with where the bowler lands. The biomechanics report follows the action phase by phase (run-up, impulse stride, delivery stride, follow-through) with readings such as the front knee at landing and at release, each against its target range, and says what is working and what to work on. Targets are matched to the bowler's age where an age range is known. Your plan gives one step at a time.

LEARN TO FILM IN A MINUTE
Two short films, in English or Hinglish, show where to put the phone for each angle, right inside the app. A card on the set-up screen shows it again before you film.

FILM ONE BALL
Tap Capture, name the bowler and choose the angle. Record one delivery, then keep it or retake it. A kept ball is sent by itself; with no signal, it waits on the phone and goes later. Once CricMotion has analysed a ball, it gets its own page with its video in slow motion, its readings and a full report. Some balls are checked by our team first.

FOR PLAYERS, PARENTS, COACHES AND ACADEMIES
Several bowlers on one account: tap CHANGE BOWLER on Home to switch between them. Cricket coaches see the balls of the players on their squad and can leave a short note. Academy heads invite coaches and players and see their academy's roster.

WHAT YOU NEED
An Android phone, a tripod, a cricket net or pitch, and a bowler.

AI-POWERED INSIGHTS
Before your first ball, the app asks once whether trusted third-party AI services may help analyse your balls: Allow or Not now. With Not now, our own system analyses them (every video is still checked automatically for unsafe content). You can change this any time in Profile. You can delete your account in Profile. No ads. Details at cricmotion.com/privacy.

What’s new

Back-on balls: type how high the phone is, or let the phone measure it where it can, and the speed's range now shows how sure that height is. Watch how to film, side-on and back-on, in English or Hinglish, inside the app. A new bowler's arm is asked once. Short takes are caught before they go up. Big pitch photos no longer stop a ball. On shorter phones, Finish stays above the tab bar and more readings show under the film. Two labels fixed at the largest text size.
