Moldvay’s Labyrinth is inspired by classic tabletop and CRPG games of the 1970s and 80s, including the Basic Edition of D&D (the “Red Book”), Wizardry, and Bronze Dragon on the Apple ][+ computer. No ads. No IAP. Just old-school dungeon crawling the way it used to be. Full game, one price, offline play — no strings attached.

Ratings and reviews

first, incredibly hard. there is no hand holding. bought a weapon but didn't realize you needed to equip it? wipe. poisoned and not enough gold to heal? wipe. interface is unintelligible. through mistakes my party is all new characters with no gear, and there's no way to get a fresh start, so I've bricked the game. not likely to play again unless there's a new version that let's you wipe data and restart. food is bizarrely expensive.

Decent game but needs some work. I'd like more info in the game and not tucked away in the manual. Tooltips and better explanations on skills. And rolling for stats is an insane waste of time.

My new obsession, been playing it near nonstop. Great for quick few rooms and encounters, or longer sessions uncovering the map.
