Ratings and reviews

It's a good platform with a solid selection of anime. However, the free version blocks most dubs and is riddled with adds. About 10 minuets worth in a 25 min anime, and they time them poorly, sometimes placing them in the middle of a sentence. Also, it will be the same 4 adds over and over until you swear off whatever is being advertised on principal.

The subtitles are sometimes covered up by the content rating (TV-14, etc) that is briefly displayed at the start of each episode. This happens when the subtitles are positioned at the top of the screen like in Fairy Tail 100 Years Quest episode 13.5. The Android app works well enough for my use case otherwise. Edit: it's annoying that the content advisory pops up again if the episode is paused for a few seconds. Stop cluttering the screen with info that's already in the episode description.

Ton of glitches, the subs aren't available on a large amount of shows, and to top it off, they don't have an app for Vizio TVs. You either have to screen cast or watch directly on your phone/tablet. Too bad they essentially have a monopoly so you're stuck with this trash. tldr: the Funimation app was superior in almost every way and this app is slightly better than a raging dumpster fire.
