Not gonna lie. I'm liking the game, but it just takes too long to power up characters unless you pay to do so. It makes it really difficult to get your characters to where they need to be to progress through both story and event missions. I find myself more often than not, logging in and doing the material quests, then closing it up for the rest of the day. Eventually, I'll probably forget this game even exists on my phone, tbh. It's a shame, really. Because I love the eminence in shadow.

Paid event currency is not the way to go. There's very little free crystal income per month that's it's difficult to play this game without spending money. Very high "spark" amount that it's unrealistic to achieve. Gameplay is decent but the game is currently filled with bugs that makes it crash and lag on modern devices even. Lack of a discord server limits community interaction. Seems they are doing everything possible to kill the potential of the game. Overall, there are better alternatives.

Game is enjoyable, yes, but it is so frustrating to play on a mobile device. Frequent freezes and crashes for no reason, especially at the end of stages. Unskippable skill animations. Clunky gameplay. Only play the game if you want an expanded story to the Eminence in Shadow. Otherwise, play Princess Connect instead. Dec 30 2022: Game still has freezes, but it is a bit more bearable.
