Griddle is a crossword app you can just pick up and play. Enjoy a free daily crossword plus three more free puzzles each day. No account, no sign-up, no internet needed. Open it and start solving.
A daily crossword for everyone
Everyone gets the same free daily puzzle: a 15x15 Standard Monday through Saturday and a big 21x21 Large on Sunday. Your daily crossword doesn't count toward your three additional free puzzles. Keep a streak going, or just drop in when you feel like it.

Choose a 9x9 Mini for a quick break or a 15x15 Standard for the classic crossword. With Griddle Pro, you can generate 21x21 Large puzzles whenever you want. The big Sunday daily crossword is always free.
Every additional crossword is generated fresh on your device from a library of over 100,000 original clues, so there's always something new to solve.
Simple to play
Tap a square to select it, tap again to switch between Across and Down. Tap any clue to jump straight to it. Stuck on one? Check a letter, reveal a hint, or undo your way back a step at a time. Three difficulty levels let you keep it gentle or really make yourself think.
No ads while you solve
Enjoy your crossword without advertising interruptions. In the free version, ads may appear after you finish a puzzle, never while you're solving.
Picks up where you left off
Your progress saves on its own. Set a puzzle down halfway, come back hours or days later, and you're right where you left off. The timer only runs while you're actively solving, so there's never any rush.
