Fire, water, earth, air, lightning and magic all hold each other in check:
- Water puts out fire, however big the blaze
- Earth absorbs lightning, the charge runs into the ground
- Air scatters earth, dust cannot hold against wind
- Lightning cuts through water, conductivity takes away its edge
- Fire burns air, the draught only feeds the flame
