Crystal Clues blends colorful crystal matching with clever word deduction.

Swipe through adjoining crystals of the same color to break a chain, trigger cascades, and uncover letters hidden behind the board. Then study five clue relationships - Similar, Example, Category, Related, and Etymology - to work out the answer before your moves run out.

Every board gives you another word mystery. Build your score across connected campaign levels, return for a Daily puzzle, and choose when to spend the powerups you earn:

- Letter reveals one answer letter.
- Shuffle rearranges the crystals.
- Zap sends a five-square lightning chain from the square you choose.

Large crystal groups can earn extra help, while each cascade reveals more of the clue network beneath the board. Your campaign progress is saved, and Campaign and Daily powerups stay separate.

No name, email, or password is required; players may optionally choose a public Global Scores first name or nickname. Crystal Clues contains no ads. An optional in-app purchase adds 4 Letter Credits; paid assistance marks the campaign Assisted and adds `*` beside its Global Score. Core play works offline, while purchases, credit recovery, verified Global Scores, and server-timed restart limits require an internet connection and an anonymous app session.

What’s new

Every Easy and Hard Campaign now syncs reliably to Global Scores. Leaderboard ordering and offline recovery are also improved.
