About this app

Dry Fire Par Time Tracker is superior to other Par Timers in that it supports:

1. Repetition of each exercise without pressing the start button

2. Retains the history of your practice sessions

3. Computes statistics of your progression over time

4. Supports a database of exercises

5. Basic (Simple) format. Enter a Par Time, Delay and the number of reps. Dry Fire Par Timer repeats the exercise.

6. Advanced format. The Advance Format allows you to tune the Par Times and Delay Times to your specific exercise. You can perform the repetitions at a decreasing par time, set an initial delay differently than the other delays and also randomize the delay times to limit anticipation of the beep.

*** New in 1.97: Increase the number of reps and you decrease the par time. This will put more
focus on the faster par times.

7. Dry Fire supports grouping drills into sets. If your routine is to practice different drills each session, then you can group your drills and recall the set to perform.

Dry Fire is available free for a 30 day trial. After the 30 days, you may purchase the full version.

Remember, always make sure your firearm is unloaded and the magazines are empty. Practice safe gun handling.

Dry Fire Par Time Tracker is the most comprehensive dry fire training tool on the market.

Enjoy the app. Email if you have issues or would like to see upgrades.

I've been using this since 2017. The way you set up drills has a bit of a learning curve. But it's easy once you learn it. Dev still seems to be maintaining the app, which is awesome! The only thing I'd change is being able to do increments of 0.05 seconds instead of 0.1. But that's only because it feels like a smoother transition when working on increasing my hand speed. It's still easily a 5 star app since the dev isn't adding superfluous features!

Thanks again for the 5 stars. I'll look into changing the increment from .1 to 0.05. I am working on several other projects, so I may not be able to make the change until this summer.

A nifty app for dry fire par times only. Nothing else that's not needed. What i looking for. Makes dry fire time more productive by making things a bit more regimental. Once it’s set up, press go, 20 or so minutes later (for my configuration) I’m done. Makes it easier to "just go do it." Seems to operate with all local data; a welcome rarity in this day and age. Edit: after a week or so with the app it has performed flawlessly. I had some initial issues but have not been able to recreate them. Writing it off to oddities on my specific platform at the time.

The best app for dry fire training in the store right now. Flexible, customizable and stable. I'd suggest some minor nice to have quality of life improvements: Adding a beep duration setting to the drill similar to splits app. Setting a gun and tracking training time separately for each gun. Ability to delete a drill. You can always overwrite it with something you need but sometimes you have leftover drills.

Thanks for the 5 stars and suggestions. I will add them to my ToDo list. You can delete a drill. Click on the menu (3 vertical dots), then select "Delete Exercise". This will delete the currently displayed exercise.

What's new
