Shared Step is a private expense log for separated and divorced parents who share the cost of raising their kids and pets. Log what you paid, mark what the other parent owes, and keep a clean record you can stand behind.

NOTHING LEAVES YOUR PHONE
No account. No server. No tracking. Your records, receipts, and the other parent's name stay on your device.

LOG IN SECONDS
• Add an expense with amount, date, who it was for, and category (Medical, School, Activities, Childcare, Clothing, Pet care, Other)
• Attach a photo of the receipt from your camera or gallery, or a PDF
• Share a receipt from Gmail, Photos, or Files straight into Shared Step
• Set the default split once (50/50, 70/30, or any percent) and override it on any single expense

ASK WITHOUT THE ARGUMENT
• One tap builds a Shared Step card: a one-page PDF with the amount, split, and receipt, sent through WhatsApp, Messages, or email
• The expense is marked Requested when you share the card; you can also mark it manually
• Follow-up reminders when a request has gone unanswered

SEE WHO OWES WHAT
• A running balance shows what the other parent owes you at a glance
• Track each expense from Logged to Requested to Reimbursed, with a full history of status changes

REPORTS FOR YOUR ATTORNEY OR MEDIATOR
A one-time purchase unlocks PDF reports: pick a date range and the kids, and Shared Step produces a clear, dated statement with every expense, its split, its status, and the attached receipts. Logging stays free forever. No subscription.
