About this app

** DESCRIPTION

- Climatic and seismic actions:

Snow: OroM provides the snow region for each address or GPS coordinates, according to the French National Annex of the NF EN 1991-1-3 standard (AN of May 2007). The snow load on the ground is calculated according to the altitude of the place, according to the variation functions given in the National Annex. The exceptional snow load is also given. Installations above 2000 m altitude are not covered by the application.
Wind: OroM determines the wind zone for each address or GPS coordinates, according to the French National Annex of the NF EN 1991-1-4 standard (AN of March 2008). The reference speed is indicated.
Seismicity: OroM indicates the seismicity zone of the selected location, according to Decree No. 2010-1255 of October 22, 2010, relating to the delimitation of seismicity zones on French territory. OroM then gives the maximum reference acceleration of the ground, as well as the parameters of the response spectrum according to the class of soil, according to the decree of October 22, 2010. These parameters can be used for the seismic study of a normal risk building.

- Dispersed orography:

The French national annex of EN 1991-1-4 proposes a method for calculating the orography coefficient. This coefficient is attached to the relief surrounding the place of construction and is used in the calculation of the actions of the wind on the studied structure.
For the calculation of an orography made up of obstacles of various heights and shapes, it is essential to know the altitudes located at the 4 cardinal points at 500 and 1000m around the place of construction as well as that of the construction site.
The purpose of OroM is to determine these altitudes as well as the average altitude and the relative altitude defined in formulas 4.12-NA and 4.13-NA. From these altitudes and the height of the building entered by the user, the application calculates the orography coefficient.

** RESOURCES

OroM uses:
- the geolocation of the device,
- the internal storage of the device to save the positions and calculations made,
- Geonames to obtain the altitude of the different points by web service,
- the Api Administrative Breakdown service provided by api.gouv.fr to obtain the INSEE code of the position by web service,
- A CTICM database external to the application which makes it possible to retrieve climatic and seismic information for a municipality,
- OpenStreetMap for displaying/managing the map and retrieving latitude/longitude/address of points,
- Icons8 for all icons.

** DATA PROCESSING

The data stored in the device allows the user not to search several times for the same construction site and to directly find the results that concern him. This data can be deleted simply by the user. The data collected during the use of the application is in no way transferred and stored to a remote server or used for commercial purposes.
