About this app

Bara helps you find street food vendors near you, fast. Discover what is open nearby, explore new spots, and use community check ins and feedback to decide where to eat.

It is built for real world street food discovery, especially across Trinidad and Tobago. Whether you are looking for doubles, roti, bake and shark, chow, or your next favorite roadside spot, Bara makes it easy to search the map, tap a vendor, and see what the community is saying.

How Bara works
Browse vendors on a map and in a nearby list
Check in when you visit and help confirm whether a vendor is open
Share quick feedback using simple tags instead of star ratings
View the most helpful highlights based on recent community activity
Add a vendor when you discover a spot that is not on the map yet

Community powered and built for trust
Bara is powered by community contributions. When users check in, add vendors, and share feedback, it helps keep the map fresh and accurate. If something looks incorrect, you can report it so the community can help improve it.

No complicated reviews
Bara focuses on quick, simple feedback. Instead of long written reviews, users can vote on tags that describe the experience. This makes it easier to understand what people like and what to expect.

Optional Premium
Bara is free to use. An optional Premium subscription is available for users who want an ad free experience and the ability to upload more photos.

Location and privacy
Bara uses your location to show vendors near you and to support features like distance and directions. You can use Bara without granting location access, but some features may be limited. Bara is designed to support community discovery, and it does not include public user chat or messaging.

Download Bara and start discovering what is open nearby.
