About this app

You do not need another noisy productivity app.

You need a simple way to start focused work, stay with it, and build momentum.

CTRL Focus is a clean deep work timer. Start a session, keep distracting apps out, and stay with one clear task at a time. Your sessions build into a simple record of where your time actually went.

WHAT YOU CAN DO

• Choose 25/5, 50/10, 90/15, or your own custom durations
• Block the apps you choose while a session is running
• Pick up an active timer after switching apps or restarting
• Add an optional photo as proof of a session
• Track your focus time, streaks, and weekly stats
• Connect with friends and share the activity you choose

MADE FOR

Deep work, studying, coding, writing, creative work, exam preparation, work sprints, and Pomodoro-style sessions.

ACCESSIBILITY SERVICE AND APP BLOCKING

CTRL Focus uses Android's AccessibilityService API for optional app blocking. With your permission, the service detects which app is in the foreground and shows a blocking screen over apps you selected while blocking is active. When you enable optional accountability tracking, opening a selected app can also trigger a usage check. Usage tracking requires the separate Android Usage Access permission.

The accessibility service processes foreground app identifiers on your device. It does not read screen content, messages, passwords, or what you type. You choose which apps to block and can turn off accessibility access at any time in Android settings. You can use the focus timer without granting this permission.

No clutter. No unnecessary complexity. Just a clean system for starting focused sessions and showing up consistently.

Start a session. Protect your attention. Build momentum.
