Nice not to have ads on YouTube videos. Playlist feature doesn't work and crashes the app every time I try to use it. Picture-in-picture freezes constantly and doesn't have working controls. I can't use my earbud touch controls to pause the video which is annoying. Controls (Shuffle, Loop, Sleep Timer) don't show up on the screen when the video first opens. Watch history only counts the videos you search in-app which isn't helpful when the feature times out by noon everyday. Overall good.

Hi!
Really thank you for the review :)
I'm working on your points to improve the app, some feature take more time, as earbud control

the idea for this app is 10/10 but I have a few criticisms. 1. whenever I press the home button and close the preview or turn my phone off the audio stops 2. whenever I try to play a song without shuffle, instead of going to the next video in line it goes to the first of the playlist 3. (this is more personal with my earbuds) but whenever I press pause or play on my earbuds it does nothing if these were fixed it would be 5 stars
Thank you for your review 🙏🏻
The only thing the usage policy prevents me from doing is having music when the screen is off, but I will investigate the rest to resolve the issues. (Some issues already opened on GitHub)

The app is pretty neat. I can tell what API is being used to play the video although I have very little knowledge on the implementation. I believe it's the same that is used to play YT videos on other web pages isn't it? I come with a suggestion. If possible, having a seperate page for the playlists would be neat as well as being able to search for created playlists, that way if someone has a lot of playlists they won't have to scroll through all of them to find a specific one.
Thank you very much for your review 🙏🏻❣️
Yes exactly, I don't block ads but I use this API that doesn't include advertising !
Actually it's already possible to import playlists from YouTube, just paste the playlist link into the search bar or with the "import" playlist button.
However, I fully agree, I will follow your advice for the next update
