CTX GO Mobile Application is your ultimate travel companion for Central Texas, designed to enhance mobility, streamline trip planning, and provide real-time traffic insights. The app features a dynamic traffic map layered with live updates on incidents, work zones, and travel times.

With the introduction of Commute Rewards, CTX GO now supports sustainable commuting by allowing eligible users to track trips and earn rewards for choosing alternative travel modes.


Key Features:

• Traffic Map: Interactive maps with live updates on incidents, congestion, and road conditions.

• Trip Planner: Plan and save routes with ETA, distance, and toll/non-toll indicators.

• Commute Rewards: Earn rewards for eligible commute trips by carpool, transit, bike, or walk. Set Home and Work locations, track trips, validate commutes, and monitor reward progress.

• Trip Tracking: Start and end trips directly in the app with location-based tracking and activity detection.

• Automatic trip logging :Turn it on and CTX GO can detect and log your eligible home-to-work commutes in the background, so qualifying trips count without manual entry. It's optional, and you choose your comfort level.

• Earn points, badges, and more:Rack up points and streaks for eligible transit, carpool, bicycle/e-scooter, and walk trips. Unlock badges, climb status tiers, and see where you stand on campaign leaderboards. Join regional challenges and watch your community impact add up.

• Carpool, now built in : Find and connect with carpool partners directly in the app. Post a listing as a driver or rider, get matched, and coordinate with a simple in-app accept/decline flow — no separate web page needed.

• Guaranteed Ride Home: Commuted without your car and need a ride home in a pinch? Eligible carpoolers can request a Guaranteed Ride Home right from the app, with a voucher and a quick hand-off to the ride provider.

• Transit made easier: See CapMetro and CARTS options in your trip planner and jump straight to buying a ticket, then return to the app when you're done.

• Rideshare and a mobility directory: Open Lyft directly from the trip planner, and browse a curated directory of regional mobility apps in one place.

• Onboarding Experience: Guided setup to help users quickly enable Commute Rewards and understand eligibility requirements.

• Work Zones: Visualize construction zones with detailed timelines and contact information.

• EV Charging Stations: Locate and filter nearby EV charging points.

• Notifications & Alerts: Customize notifications for incidents, trip updates, and important alerts.

• Multi-Language Support: English and Spanish interfaces, including translated traffic signs.

CTX GO integrates data from the Central Texas Construction Partnership Program (CPP) and external sources to deliver reliable and comprehensive transportation information.

What’s new

Work Zone Map Updates

We've upgraded the work zone data powering your CTX GO map. Work zones are now sourced directly from the Construction Data Platform's Work Zone Management system, giving you more accurate and up-to-date lane closure information in real time.

Check out the "Work Zone Impact" legend in the sidebar so you always know what's happening on the road:

Red – All lanes closed
Green – Some lanes closed
Black – Unknown impact

Performance improvements for faster map loading.
