pratnome is a programmable metronome and tempo trainer that changes BPM for you while you practice.
Choose your starting tempo, set how often it should change, and define the BPM increase or decrease. pratnome follows your plan automatically, so you can focus on playing instead of stopping to adjust the metronome.
Example:
Start at 70 BPM → increase by 10 BPM every 4 bars → stop at 120 BPM.
AUTOMATIC TEMPO PROGRESSION
Build speed, technique, and control with automatic BPM changes. Choose the number of bars per step, the amount to increase or decrease, and your upper or lower tempo limit.
CLASSIC METRONOME
Need a steady click? Switch to Classic Metronome mode and practice indefinitely at a fixed BPM with automatic progression turned off.
BUILD CUSTOM PRACTICE PROGRAMS
Create structured tempo routines with different BPM values, bar counts, and time signatures.
For example:
• 4 bars — 70 BPM
• 4 bars — 80 BPM
• 8 bars — 90 BPM
• 4 bars — 70 BPM
Repeat a program a set number of times or run it in an infinite loop. Reorder sections, save routines, edit them later, or duplicate one as the starting point for a new program.
FLEXIBLE TIME SIGNATURES
Use 2/4, 3/4, 4/4, 6/8, 9/8, and 12/8 presets, or create a custom time signature with 1–16 beats per bar and a note value of 2, 4, 8, or 16.
COUNT-IN OPTIONS
Use a count-in once before practice begins, repeat the count-in whenever the tempo changes, or turn it off completely.
SPOKEN BPM ANNOUNCEMENTS
Have the new BPM spoken aloud whenever the tempo changes. Keep track of your speed without looking at the screen while practicing drums, guitar, piano, or another instrument.
GET BACK TO PRACTICE FAST
Your settings stay saved when you close and reopen the app. Launch or edit saved programs directly. When a session ends, pratnome returns to the main screen without adding an unnecessary summary step.
pratnome is designed for musicians, students, teachers, and players working on technical speed. Use it for rhythm practice, timing exercises, gradual speed training, and structured tempo work while keeping your attention on the music.
Automatically raise or lower BPM by bars and stay focused on your practice.
