With the Foodroots app you can consciously make an important contribution to reducing CO2 in the atmosphere by using the app to buy locally from farmers who practice soil-building agriculture (permaculture). This soil structure brings CO2 from the air into the soil very efficiently, promotes biodiversity and conserves resources. And of course the food tastes delicious.
Using the app, you first choose where and when you want to receive your purchase (pickup points), and then you can use the app to select the delicious products that your farmers offer at your virtual market stall. If it is fruit and vegetables, it is usually not harvested until the day you ordered the goods. The farmer will then be at the agreed place at the agreed time and hand over the goodies to you. It could hardly be fresher and more climate-friendly. Or you can use one of the smart pickup points and pick up your order there at any time using the QR code in the Foodroots app.
