About this app
here are moments when a child does not need a lesson, a lecture, or a manual: they need a story.
A new baby brother or sister, the first night without a pacifier, starting school, fear of the dark, or losing a pet. Cuentopia is a library of personalized children's stories, created to accompany these complex moments of growing up.
Designed to turn everyday challenges into a moment of family connection through reading aloud. For families with children ages 2 to 9, and also a resource already used by early years and primary school teachers in the classroom.
WHAT CUENTOPIA IS FOR
Our stories avoid heavy-handed morals and babyish language. We believe in the power of metaphor: short sentences, present tense, and a natural rhythm perfect for reading aloud. Cuentopia does not preach or diagnose: it accompanies.
HOW IT WORKS
Choose the moment: browse categories like tantrums, fears, jealousy, or family changes.
Create your child's profile: the app uses their name, age, and personality to adjust vocabulary and pace to their stage of development. No extra setup needed.
Read aloud: no intrusive screens, no loud animations, no distractions. You are the voice, you are the story.
Custom stories: with the Family plan you can request personalized tales for the specific situations in your home.
WHAT SETS US APART
Artificial intelligence with professional judgment. Every script draws on real clinical and educational research, but the story itself speaks in metaphors, never in diagnoses or labels. Library stories go through editorial review before publishing. Personalized stories are created in real time exclusively for your family and stay private.
A family ritual and bond. The app is just the medium; what matters is the time shared before bed or at any point in the day.
Cultural identity. Careful, well adapted Spanish, with Catalan and English already available. Basque and Galician versions are in development.
FOR THE CLASSROOM
Cuentopia is a resource for early years and primary classrooms: it helps work on empathy or accompany a group moment (a goodbye, a change, an upset) using the same stories families read at home. It is not an intervention program and does not replace the judgment of a school counselor or psychologist. Contact us for shared access for schools.
PRIVACY AND SAFETY
No advertising, not even on the free plan. A 100% safe environment.
Data ethics: strict compliance with European GDPR and child protection regulations. We do not collect data from children or sell information to third parties.
