About this app

This is a retrofitted version of the original Mixed Chinese Keyboard created by Miles Leung.

Since the original version is already outdated and deprecated in Android 11 or above, there are various bugs in the original version.

Although it is based on the original version 0.5.2, there are some significant changes to match the current design of Android OS. For example, haptic feedback is used instead of the vibrate effect for keypress.

THANK YOU for updating this app after it became obsolete after a certain update. Not sure if the creator is the same as the other one, but it works the exact same. English to Cantonese word for word translation, or translation through pronunciation. For someone who can read but barely write, this app is perfect.

Had been using the old version until it got crashed with new android update. Thanks for bringing it back. However, is there an option for pressing space bar to choose the most relevant chinese words instead of choosing one by one in the selection bar? That would make this app score 100. Thanks.

Say I've installed multiple input keyboards such as Mixed Chinese, Gboard, Voice ...etc. On pre-Android 12 phones, there is an keyboard icon at the lower right corner that allows switching between different keyboards. If Mixed Chinese is the default keyboard, this option seems to be missing. However, if default is other keyboard say GBoard, the switching keyboard icon is visible but Mixed Chinese Keyboard is not shown as a selectable item. Wonder if this can be corrected. Much appreciated.
