The best solution for accessing remote Linux systems This, along with X2Go, has been my go-to app for accessing my remote Linux developer desktop. Unfortunately, it stopped working today. I reinstalled. Now the X server won't start. Giving 5 stars anyway because I'm sure my tablet became corrupt somehow and because this has been such an amazing app. I hope the developer can help so I can use this again.
Fantastic but have prob This works amazing on my tablet but I'm trying to install numix via git clone. I tried copying icons into the .icon folder I created but I get a write error every time I try. Says it is write only, no matter where I place the folder and I've always checked permissions, everything is read and write. What should I do to fix the error? Already tried ntfs-config
Awesome! For those who can't or are afraid to root their device, but still want a full desktop, this is the best solution I've found. Starts by downloading and installing a base Xfce4 desktop, which can easily be customized through standard Linux terminal commands. I use Hacker's Keyboard, so I found the startup config useful to remove the on-screen CTRL/ALT/SHIFT keys, as well. P.S. A workaround for the uninstall issue on pre-5.x devices: In a file manager, go to "/sdcard/Android/obb" and delete the "com.cuntubuntu" folder inside. Then you'll be able to reinstall this app.
It's pretty cool !! I tried many apps for Linux installation in my android tablet but all of them made my tablet to keep hanging but this one is well designed and comes with lite Debian version. The version is quite old. I think there have an option to get newer version! Well, I'm pretty impressed. Must have apps for Linux lovers !!
Debian noroot Kudos for getting it to work. A step above most of the others I have tried. I have it on a galaxy tab 4 stock lollipop. Very laggy. Several apps that i have installed thru apt and the package managers just did not work even though no errors reported on installs. It has a low resource interface already but going to try another to see if it works better. Need to ditch the cursor and just use the touch screen. Right now better off loging into my laptop with nomachine to do work than trying to use this at the moment.
This app is amazing. It makes a smartphone or tablet into a fully usable linux interface, capable of running almost any program. The only thing holding back the app is the users screen size, often not big enough to get the most use out of it.
You will need 900 Mb of internal storage to install this app.
Fixed audio. If your favorite music player does not work - install package gstreamer0.10-pulseaudio.
Turning your smartphone or tablet into a powerful gamepad for PC games.
