I'm changing my review. This app is less than useless. First, as a free user you CANNOT read messages sent to you without a paid subscription. The devs claim you can but that is an outright lie, I checked. Second, because you can't read ANY messages without a paid membership, if you try in any way to move to a different platform where you can actually talk to someone, they will instantly ban your account. Even Tinder isn't that bad. It honestly deserves negative stars. Avoid at all costs.

I paid and used this app for 3 months while in Japan. Honestly, maybe this app used to be popular. Now not so much. Most profiles are abandoned with pictures from 2 or 3 years ago on them. I liked and messaged most women around Osaka & Kyoto/Kansai area. Most of them didn't respond. They probably didn't want to speak in English or were not interested in taking to a "foreigner/traveller." Maybe if you're a Japanese Language Speaker with Japanese writing skills. Even so, wouldn't get my hopes up.

Very disappointing app. I've been on it awhile now. Overall the function is nice. But few people in my area; very difficult to match unless you have a paid subscription. Which is understandable, but it is pretty expensive. But my big issue is this: I actually matched with someone and we STILL can't message each other because neither one of us has a paid subscription. Even on Match if you were lucky enough to match with another person you can message each other free. that's it for me.
