Ratings and reviews

Since regaining their Australian licence they have been a train wreck. Lost transfer after lost transfer. Needing to provide an insane amount of detail before they can locate the funds (particularly difficult when the transfer mistake was at their end). It must be great for them to retain all the carry on those lost funds. Unfortunately they won't also get to keep the customers

Has been great in the past but I've just fallen foul of the policy that requires customers to transfer out their aged balance of funds. Unfortunately this is an inflexible one size fits all policy so I have to do an exchange that will incur 10% in fees now while waiting for a deposit to arrive in a month's time which will then incur another exchange fee, whereas if I could have waited and combined the two it would just cost me one fee which would have been negligible.

Slow, crashy. Currencyfair recently removed the marketplace feature to get the best rates when they are available, and increased their rates. On top of this they are making it very difficult to complete transactions asking for bank statements for each transaction. Unfortunately not workable for me and after 9 years I am withdrawing all the money they have kept on hold for weeks on different occasions and leaving for other apps with better rates.
