Bovada is an offline tool for planning multisport races with time cutoffs. At launch, it safely reads settings, races, and onboarding status stored on the device and can reset corrupted local data. Onboarding helps you choose units, pace and time formats, and local reminders. Afterward, the app displays upcoming, past, and draft races with search, risk states, estimated finish time, and remaining buffer. Create a race with a name, date, start time, overall cutoff, and at least one stage.
In Bovada, each stage can be swimming, cycling, running, skiing, rowing, a transition, or a custom type. Enter distance, best and cautious pace, stage cutoff, and safety buffer. Race details show finish time, total buffer, riskiest stage, transition time, and a grid of checkpoints. Switch between best-day, normal-day, and cautious-day modes. With the app, the calculator lets you adjust pace with sliders, view cumulative time and the minimum pace requirement, then save, compare, or delete risk scenarios.
Bovada lets you enter actual stage and transition times after training or a race, along with difficulty from 1 to 5 and a short note. Plan-versus-actual comparisons reveal where buffer was lost or recovered. The local summary calculates average buffer, frequently critical stages, disciplines that lose time, and average transition duration, with period and status filters. Optionally, take a photo of paper regulations or a race note; without camera permission, continue without a photo or add a text note.
In the app, settings cover units, pace format, default safety buffer, stage types, reminders, deletion confirmation, display of completed races, onboarding replay, Privacy Policy, and product rating. Local reminders are scheduled only for future dates and need no network. Races, stages, scenarios, actual times, and settings stay on the device through shared_preferences. There is no background synchronization, photo analysis, or external statistics transfer, and the tool works fully without internet access.
