Lowering my review to a 3. the game is fun at its core, but you'll quickly hit the wall where progress is almost impossible unless you pay. Maybe you could speed things up by watching ads, but the ad engine is busted. 90% of the time, I watch an ad and there's no way to process past the ad to gain the reward. You're just stuck in the ad. Only options are to proceed to the Play store or quit and reload, either way, the game doesn't register the reward. So... the game is kinda played out.

I love this game. Its a really fun rouge-lite-ish game with a little bit of bullet hell mixed in. Ads are optional, and reward you quite well too. Progress can be a bit slow, but that's what makes it fun. Unlocking new abilities over time so you aren't OP at level 1. You don't need to spend money to get really good stuff. Diamonds are earned through getting to specific progress points per level. I highly recommend this for anyone looking for a fun game, or if you just need to kill time.

Entertaining, a good way to waste time. Paradoxically the Elite levels and special levels are easier than the "Normal" ones. Progressing with any of them still requires bigger stats, and the Elite and Special levels have tougher enemies, but they also have gimmicks that give you extra upgrade cards. This difference ends up making the Normal levels paradoxically harder and you feel more limited than the Elite or Special levels. That's not a critique, but it is something you wouldn't expect.
